graphic design
The teaching on this course is both specific and integrated with interdisciplinary projects and offers a solid grounding in the stages of design creation and the production of media specific to graphic design.
Throughout the programme, students follow basic lessons and develop personal projects. The latter are divided into specialist graphic design projects and crossover projects involving practical work in all media taught within the department.
The course is intended to give students in-depth skills in
- the artistic direction of visual communication projects
- editorial design
- the design of typographical characters
- illustration
- the design of visual identity (corporate identity)
- sign writing
It benefits from an international network of contributors and allows students to play a full part in contemporary graphic design through projects, publications and exhibitions.
