Comment ça va?

Julie Strasser – Comment ça va?

Everything began through an intense and overwhelming discovery: that of an extraordinary village which mirrored its inhabitants. Dedicated to the care of people dealing with mental disabilities, this place instantly fascinated me. I therefore decided to bring to light these incredible people in their world. I wanted to capture their postures, expressions and personal challenges in order to create a link between their mental handicap and the physical translation of it. This immersion into their lives was a touching experience of simplicity and humanity, with many remarkable encounters and colourful conversations.
