Exhibited cinema

Artists’ films, video art and exhibition of moving images in French-speaking Switzerland

Research project (2017)

The aims of this project are twofold: to reconstruct the place of films and moving images in the field of contemporary art through researches into Swiss French archives; and to experience, through workshops with filmmakers and visual artists, conferences of curators and moving image practitioners, the involvements of the exhibition context on the open forms of film experiments (the treatment of duration, the multiplicity of screens, the mobile spectator).
