Museology, new technologies and exhibition design
The goal of the project consisted in defining the museology and the design of an audiovisual museum.
Within this framework, the process of transforming the AUDIORAMA (the Swiss Museum of Sound and Image in Montreux-Territet) was regarded as a case study - a prototype - from which were drawn generic lessons useful for the design of technical museums in particular and for the integration of new technologies in contemporary exhibition design.
