VarstHaving spent the first twenty years of my life in Moscow, I am interested in the relationship between the strong architecture of the 1920’s and the fashion of nowadays. I use the model of Constructivism and update it through the fashion catalogue of an imaginary designer named Varst. Varst is a universe of strict lines and geometric shapes. This catalogue is a combination of 2D graphic shapes – illustrations, collages, typography – which comes alive in volume and takes shape. This project is a work of art direction, styling, and visual experiments.
