Collaboration with de Sede

Collaboration with de Sede

Like many other « Maisons » specialized in leather goods, de Sede started its history through saddle making. 50 years later, the Swiss brand wished to celebrate its anniversary by asking students from the Master of Advanced Studies in Design for Luxury and Craftsmanship to design an armchair that would highlight their knowhow and the quality of the leather they use.

Collaboration (2015) by Ini Archibong, Ophélie Sanga

For this collaboration the selected project, realized by Ophélie Sanga and Ini Archibong, investigate the equestrian universe. This rocking chair, with the aesthetic and a swing reminiscent of a saddle, was appreciated for its luxurious and playful aspect.
After a few experimentations and mock-ups, the artisans from de Sede have developed our project, which will be soon entering their catalogue.
