Swiss cow fighting is becoming more and more popular in the canton of Valais. It has grown in popularity in recent years and spectators from many villages, towns, cantons and countries flock to see cows fighting for the title of Queen. My undergraduate project is about this lively event. Quite disconcerted by this sudden enthusiasm, I photographed the tourist-pulling event in an ironic way while taking a genuine interest in the passion displayed by owners for their cows, thus focusing on the main actors of this event.
