Research project, ECAL 2019

in PROJECTS / R&D RESEARCH PROJECTS (R&D)

The research project "Design management for start-ups" is dedicated to the integration of design into innovation processes. Its goal is to promote the use of design disciplines within start-ups and to create tools and methodologies to promote collaboration between designers and start-ups. This approach takes into account all design practices (industrial design, visual communication, media & interaction design, strategic design, design thinking, etc.) and is based on the ecosystem of start-ups specialising in technologies. The study allows for reflection at four levels:
·  understanding the contribution of the different design disciplines to innovation processes
·  analysing the opportunities and constraints faced by entrepreneurs
·  developing design-oriented innovation project management tools
·  supporting the strategic development of a start-up
