Diploma project, ECAL 2021

This artwork is an interpretation of the possibility that we are living in a computer-generated reality, similar to a video game, inspired by the ideas of the simulation theory. The world built as an assemblage of soulless structures without an indication of time or place. Rapid change between architectural styles throughout the journey explains the ambiguity of the simulation theory and the impossibility to prove it. There are multitudes of architectures and imaginations, thus there are multitudes of mysteries. It’s a journey somewhere in between a dream and a nightmare. In the absence of a full comprehension, what can we do but proceed further ahead?

Video installation: CGI animation created in game engine, surround sound.
