On the occasion of the Locarno Film Festival 2021, which ended this weekend, Nora Longatti won the Pardino d'oro Swiss Life for the best Swiss short film (CHF 10'000.-) with her diploma film, "Strangers", in Bachelor Cinema.

The jury was composed of Kamal Aljafari (filmmaker and artist), Marie-Pierre Macia (producer) and Adina Pintilie (filmmaker, artist and curator).

Chute (Strangers), produced by ECAL and Golden Egg Productions

In an anonymous city, a person collapses, pretending to lose consciousness. Strangers pass by, others embrace him. In solitary search of intimacy, blinded by a universe of indifference, her gaze, her body are wavering. A gracefully choreographed gesture.
