Emilie Bouchet – Ho(me)-to-Mobile

Through this project, I have tried to reappropriate this automotive world by focusing on the forgotten details of the car while creating a publication bordering on fetishism, which retraces my various outdoor rides of the past few months.

The car is an object that evokes freedom and the possibility of imminent travel. This definition has obviously taken a hit after these months of lockdown within our borders.

We sleep, eat, decorate, have sex and read in our cars; but we rarely bring our cars inside. Why separate these two worlds if the admiration for this object is real? I try to answer this question by staging collaborative objects, inspired by graphic forms related to the automobile or by spare parts.
