in BACHELOR GRAPHIC DESIGN

Tones of voice and facial expressions convey important nonverbal information to understand the mood of a conversation. These indications are lacking with text messages and are now illustrated by emojis.
This project offers a typographic approach to express emotions in digital communication. The font family is developed through a system of three variations whose change in form influences the text to give it either a positive, neutral or negative impression depending on the user’s mood.
