Workshop, 2014

Every 2 years, students are invited to take part in an ambitious work shop named « Great Trip » where they discover a land and a director. In 2014 they travelled to Sarajevo, to meet the Film Factory Students and it’s boss, the Hungarian director Bela Tarr.

Two weeks of total immersion to get lost and inspired by the city and its history, to wander in the hills and wake up to the church bells or the muezzin prayers, through the recent conflict’s marks, in the eyes and faces of a new generation, through the city’s nightlife, encountering the stray dogs, the students directed short films, sorts of post cards from Sarajevo, supervised by Bela Tarr’s talent.

All these movies are entirely shot and edited on the spot and are then presented in a theatre hall of the city.
